GENERAL INFORMATION

CAMPING WITHOUT A VALID FESTIVAL WRISTBAND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!
The 3-day festival ticket also includes access to the camping areas (only tents) starting from Thursday, 04 July 2024 - this means there will be no additional charges for camping!
Only Summerjam visitors with a valid festival wristband have access to the camping area! By way of precaution we inform that individuals gaining access to the grounds without such proof of authorization will be prosecuted for acquisition of services under use of fraudulent means (§ 265a StGB, German penal code) and unlawful entry and breach of peace (§ 123 StGB, German penal code)!
There is generally no entitlement for the provisioning of a certain camping space.
Wild camping is prohibited and will be rigorously enforced by the police and the security staff!

We also inform that the digging of tent boundaries or the digging of holes in the ground represent damage to property and will be prosecuted by the police and by the security service.
The festival grounds are located in a local recreation area, respectively nature park and are therefore not just fields or an adventure playground.

CAMPING

In contrast to previous years, no camping is permitted in the Fühlinger See area before Wednesday, 03rd July 2024!
The City of Cologne will take action against wild campers.
From Wednesday, 03rd July - 8 am all camping areas will be open for PRE-CAMPERS.
The fee per person/per night is €20.
From Thursday, 04th July - 8 am camping in a tent is included in the festival ticket price.
Access to the camping areas with a car or caravan is not possible. For camping with a caravan, the additional caravan ticket is required.

Festival wristbands must be shown at the entrances to the camping area on all days. Camping without a valid festival wristband is not permitted! Festival tickets can be purchased - if available - at the various wristband exchange containers/ticket counters at the access controls to the camping areas.
Festival tickets will be exchanged for festival wristbands from Wednesday July 03rd 2024, but only for pre-campers who pay the pre-camping fees accordingly on site.
Opening Hours Festival Wristband Exchange

Day visitors will receive a wristband directly at the entrance to the festival island (only at bridge B1 and bridge B2) on the respective day upon presentation of their day ticket in order to gain admission to the festival island. There is no re-admission after leaving the festival island. The day ticket does not include camping authorisation.

CAMPING AREAS

The camping areas (for tents) are numbered for orientation. Please only use the marked camping areas (C1-C6), which offer space for everyone. All paths must be kept clear! These are emergency access routes for ambulances, fire brigade etc., in order to be able to save lives quickly if necessary - yours or those of your friends. Camping is strictly prohibited in the forest and on the car parks! There is a camp service in all camping areas. Here you will find information, cold drinks at fair prices and coffee and breakfast in the morning. If you have any problems, emergencies or suggestions, the staff at the camp service will be happy to help.

GREEN COLOGNE BAY

The Fühlinger See is a nature preserve where we are guests for a weekend. Please collect your garbage and leave your camping site just the way you found it.
We provide an unlimited amount of garbage bags at the entrance and exit areas. You will find "garbage enclosures" on the camping grounds. Please deposit your closed garbage bags there. We will transport them away from there. Our Camping Security and the Camp Service Stations will always have free garbage bags available for you and will always help you out with advice or anything else you need.
Keep Cologne Bay Clean ... contribute to leaving the Festival Grounds clean – "leave only footprints".

New in 2024:
We will charge €10 garbage deposit in the ticket price.

BEACHCAMP BLACKFOOT BEACH (only tents)

The Blackfoot Beach offers its own Beachcamp. Thanks to the offered all-round carefree package you have the chance to experience a relaxed and stress-free weekend with real beach vibes and your toes in the sand. Included are a set-up tent, lighting, a discrete security check and much more.

In the central campground (C5/Green Camp) for tents only, our external partner, KiKo GmbH, will offer you an exclusive Comfort Camp with further, inclusive extras:

Comfort Camp Tickets Friday – Monday:
Per person €40,- plus advance booking fees (no access without festival ticket)

The net space requirement per guest is calculated at approx. 4 square meters.

Additional electricity can be booked for an extra charge.
The power connection is limited to 1kW/220 volts.
The additional extension is 25m long, sufficient from the power distributor to the campsite.

Vehicles permitted for P8:
Motorhomes, caravans and camper vans such as VW Bus models, Caddy Camper. Converted cars or estate cars do not count as motorhomes and entry is not permitted with a valid caravan ticket. In the event of refusal of access/refusal of entry, the ticket price will not be refunded.

P5.1 and P5.2
Without service, mobile toilets available. No electricity connection.
A fixed lot is booked, no free choice of space on site.

The parking lots are 4m x 6,3m.

Permitted vehicles for P5.1 and P5.2:
All motor vehicles are allowed: motorhomes, caravans, camper vans as well as converted cars, cars with roof tents.

The P8, P5.1, P5.2 caravan ticket entitles the holder to one entry. It is not possible to enter again after leaving the parking space.
The towing vehicle of a caravan cannot also be parked in the parking lot and must be parked in the chargeable visitor parking area. In order to place and collect the caravan, the towing vehicle will be granted entry once on the day of arrival and once on the day of departure.
Please note that each person also needs a festival ticket to gain access to the caravan area. It is necessary to wear the festival wristband to stay in the caravan parking.

TOILETS & SHOWERS

The Camp Services in all the camping areas provide you with water flushed toilets with 24 hour service. For a single payment of €7 for the whole festival duration you can purchase a "flatrate band" and thereby have permanent access to all the water-flushed toilets in the camping area. Of course the standard mobile toilets (Dixis) are distributed as usual for free use over the entire camping grounds.

At Service Center P2 you will find our Sanitary Camp with warm water showering facilities (€4 per shower) and dressing rooms. have been installed and can be used for a service charge. The water flushed toilets are continuously open from Thursday, 8 am – Monday, 10 am.
